Five things on Friday

Back to reality this week, I'm not too crazy knowing our next holiday is on April 6th (Good Friday). I am going to try and schedule a few days off between now and then. Here are a few things for this Friday evening:

  1. My retired coworker's replacement and I hugged with joy on Tuesday when she came in! I am not a hugger, so this proves how happy I was ;-) I only see her about 30 minutes/day, and so far she is extremely nice and I hope she gets the job when the competition comes out.
  2. There is not one snowflake on the ground. A big big difference compared to last year at this time. We're getting a bit overnight, but nothing much in the forecast.
  3. One of my new favorite shows is Ice Road Truckers in the Andes!! I can't stop watching even if it's terrifying to watch.
  4. I've only spent 1 day since January 1st, hoping this becomes the norm, not the exception!
  5. I was asked to make cupcakes for a wedding, about 150 of them... I am flattered but think it would stress me out too much....

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Ah! I wish I only had 1 spend day so far. It's Jan 6th and so far I've scored 6/6 for spend days. D'OH!

Will you be getting paid for the cupcakes? Cause... It could contribute to your extra income goal.

Mm! Cupcakes... :) Even with a KitchenAid, that's a lot of work. The year has started off pretty well for you - that's awesome! :)

AP, yeah I'd be getting paid (don't know what they sell for though!) but the stress wouldn't be worth the extra $$. I don't feel qualified enough for such a delicate task!

Congrats on you-know-who's retirement!
