Week in review

Well it's been almost a week since I posted. The week went something like this:

Monday: worked til 4 pm, ran errands after work (spent $5 or so on groceries), ate dinner, relaxed (it was absolutely freezing today, people had jackets on!)

Tuesday: worked til 4 pm, stopped at the store after work ($15.02 groceries), ate dinner, relaxed

Wednesday: worked til 5, ran errands at lunch ($43 gas), ate dinner, enjoyed the sunshine FINALLY

Thursday: worked til 5, bought lunch cuz I forgot mine at home ($3.50 and $5 something at the fruit/vegetable stand), ate dinner, watched Big Brother

Friday, worked til 5, finally managed a no spend day, relaxed

(Conclusion: Pretty boring when I work all week!! Not much time for fun!)

I have the weekend off :D Since the lady I'm replacing at work didn't come in all week, I put in my full hours at that office and found someone to replace me Saturday morning, and while I was at it, I asked for the 18th also.

Today is very nice, sunny, so going to take advantage of it. My friend's birthday was on Thursday (44 years old!) so we're going to get together today to celebrate a bit. She requested coconut cupcakes instead of a "real" cake, so I have to finish those up (icing and top with coconut).

I also managed to finish book #52!!! So that goal has been achieved a bit more than half-way into the year! I'll try to post my list soon.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Wow, you are really working a lot lately. I guess it will be good to bank all of that money for now. Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

APear, thanks!

Gill, my goal was to read 52 books in 2009... and I have already achieved and surpassed it. I must have posted about this in early January.

Sharon, yeah I am working a lot... the money is good but I miss the time off!

There are a lot of weeks like the one you described - nothing overly exciting, but it still leads to progress on the goals. That's actually the best insurance toward reaching them, I find... keeping the end in mind and making the most of each day. Good luck with everything!
